About Helen
Having qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2006 Helen has spent many years supporting children and young people to reach their potential. Helen also works in an academic capacity, helping to train future speech and language therapists
Helen has proudly worked in the NHS across South Wales since qualifying, helping children and young people with learning disabilities, syndrome-specific communication profiles, and developmental delays. She also has experience supporting children with eating, drinking, and swallowing needs.
Qualifications & Memberships
Helen is a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Private Practice (ASLTIP), and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Helen is also a registered provider of Hanen It Takes Two to Talk.
Experience & Special Interests
Helen has a special passion for supporting children and young adults with communication challenges, including those with additional learning needs, Down Syndrome and those at the early stages of developing communication skills.
